Who Are We?

We are a family of about 100 people of all ages who have discovered that Jesus is alive, and that following Him is exciting, challenging and fulfilling. We are on a journey of transformation - our lives are being transformed, and we are part of God's amazing plan to transform our community and our world.

We began in 1984 with 5 adults and 2 children. Since then we have met in several locations around Poole (under various names) before finally settling in Parkstone Christian Centre in 2004.

We have friends who come along to our meetings who are not Christians, but enjoy being with us. Whatever your beliefs you are very welcome to join us any Sunday. To find out more about Sundays please click here.

David King is our full time lead elder, who has been involved in leading the church since its inception. David has a strong prophetic ministry and he has encouraged us as a church to be a prophetic people who seek to hear God's voice, to see as He sees and to proclaim God's heart in our world.

He and his lovely wife Linda have lived in Poole all of their lives. They have two grown up sons and a very new grand daughter!

David Gawler has been in eldership since January 2000. He is an excellent teacher. He also oversees the musical worship ministry in the church, and with his wife Sharon leads the Wave, for children up to age 12, and oversees the youth work in the church.

David and Sharon have also lived in Poole all their lives, and have two children - Richard, who leads our worship team, and Chloe. David is employed as a Manager with a major bank

We have a strong broader leadership team, including four "Apprentice Elders" - we are preparing for growth!
